Business Challenge

The HR Focus Business Challenge was started in September 2016 as part of the Career Development Session of the HR Focus Conference. With HR Focus being champions of HR and with the need to bridge the gap between industry and academia, the Business Challenge,a competition held among tertiary institutions,seeks to unearth theentrepreneurial strengths of students, while encouraging them to think on their feet and outside the box.

The maiden editions rolled off with three schools: University of Ghana Business School, Ashesi University and University of Professional Studies Accra. This number has grown significantly over the years.

During the Business Challenge, each school is represented by a team of five students who solve a business cases on stage, make presentations in real time, and winners are declared by a team of industry experts, who serve as judges.

This year, the Business Challenge will have students solving a business case over a three month period.
